Stiles Healthcare Strategy, Inc., was founded in 1994 by Bill Stiles, a health care marketer and strategist with more than 25 years of experience. Stiles founded the company to serve hospitals, physicians and related health and medical organizations in need of effective, dynamic planning, marketing and research support.
Prior to forming Stiles Healthcare Strategy, Stiles served as vice president responsible for marketing and planning at Hamilton Health Care System, Dalton, Georgia.

Between 1987 and 1994 Stiles led Hamilton through the development of strategic plans, the creation of the first physician-hospital organization in Georgia, and the development of managed care plans and satellite health care facilities. He also developed innovative positioning and marketing strategies that solidified Hamilton’s place as the leading regional provider in northwest Georgia.
In 1983 Stiles founded Stiles/Bradley, Inc., a marketing and communications company specializing in health care. He served as chief executive officer of the company until 1987 when he decided to sell his interests and move to Hamilton. Under Stiles’ leadership the firm became one of the largest health care marketing organizations in the nation, with offices in Tennessee and Minnesota, providing marketing and business development services to more than 70 health care organizations in 17 states.
Between 1977 and 1983, Stiles worked as an internal consultant and marketing executive for Hospital Corporation of America, Nashville, Tennessee and Parkridge Medical Center, Chattanooga. Early in his career he directed the first public relations department at Hutcheson Medical Center, Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia. He also worked in the marketing services department of Provident Life and Accident Insurance Company, at that time one of the largest health insurers in the nation.
In 1991 Mr. Stiles served as president of the 3,200-member American Society for Health Care Marketing and Public Relations, an affiliate of the American Hospital Association. He also served on the board of directors of ASHMPR from 1985 to 1988 and from 1990 to 1993. He is a past president of the Tennessee Society for Health Care Marketing.
Stiles has written several articles on health care planning and marketing, and is a frequent speaker at health care conferences.
